Fergus McAlpine

British conductor Fergus McAlpine (born 1994) was the 2017 James Conlon conducting prize winner at the Aspen Music Festival, USA, and is currently a student of the National Conducting Master of the Netherlands. He recently stood in at short notice for Reinbert de Leeuw with the Asko|Schönberg Ensemble and has also has also conducted the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Münchner Symphoniker, among others.
